ICON is looking for a dynamic student of Industrial Engineering or similar, wishing to do an internship in the field of Supply Chain Management. We offer an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get hands-on experience with a Fortune-20 company and a market-star Supply Chain Planning tool. Applicants should be self-motivated and possess good written and verbal communication skills, both in German and English. Preferably, applicants have experiences with Unix/Linux environments and SQL as well as Supply Chain Management and/or Production Planning systems. At ICON, you will be part of a strong team. Your responsibility will be to support the customers both in providing instructions to business-users and address challenging issues in the field of Supply Chain planning. You will receive training-on-the-job from experienced senior consultants in the following area: Supply Chain Planning (Production Planning, Supply Chain Reporting). The internship will last 6 months, starting spring or summer 2008. You will be working at ICON Inc. in Santa Clara, California.
