Job Offer: SCM Business/Pre-Sales Consultant

As a Business / Pre-Sales Consultant, you will act as a business advisor to customers interested in leveraging ICON’s innovative solutions to implement best practice supply chain planning, collaboration, and execution business processes.  A successful candidate will have proven experience in establishing credibility with customers in the sales process.  You should have a business and software consulting background and be able to demonstrate software capabilities.  Initial training may include project work with active customers.

Requirements:

• Experienced with supply chain management processes such as Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Liability Management, Supply Collaboration, and Customer Order Commitments
• High tech industry experience
• Good understanding of collaboration processes including VMI/SMI
• Able to establish executive-level relationships
• Able to effectively configure and demonstrate supply chain solutions
• Good interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) in the US and internationally
• Five years experience in Supply Chain Management consulting, project management, and on-site project experience required
