icon-scm is looking for a Human Resource Manager to help us find and retain the best talent. Primary responsibilities of this position include recruitment, career management, new employee orientation, and benefits management.
Recruitment and on-boarding
- Perform recruitment efforts to attract talent and create an extensive candidate pool
- Ensure streamlined co-ordination of interviews
- Conduct interviews, reference checks and generate offers
- Strategize and implement ways to bring down hiring costs
- Facilitate new hire orientation
Career Management
- Facilitate and track career management process and performance reviews
- Facilitate monthly career management meetings
Employee Compensation
- Employee Benefits Administration & Enrollment
- Conduct benefit reviews along with finance and recommend proposals to management
Miscellaneous
- Organize corporate events
- Conduct periodic employee surveys
- Co-ordinate implementation of action items emerging from employee surveys
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Participate in special projects as required
- Develop and manage HR policies and procedures, incuding th Employee Handbook
- Oversee annual employee evaluations
Desired Skills & Expeeince
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years experience in recruitment and
human resource functions - Experience managing employees located throughout
the US as well as overseas would be helpful - Experience managing health insurance costs and dealing with the
change of health insurance providers for companies
with fewer than 250 employees - Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Motivated by a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple complex tasks
