ICON-SCM in San Jose provides related consulting and support services to our fast growing US customer base.

Join our Support and Professional Services group to provide software and solutions support by tracking and resolving inquiries by phone, e-mail and web. You will work directly with large high-tech customers testing and replicating issues involving our software installations. You will interface with our third level support and development team in Germany about suggested solutions. Some off-hour work and on-call standby will be required.

Requirements:

• Strong customer focus and ability to manage clients’ expectations for support with attention to detail and quality
• Solid interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to interface with clients and co-workers

• Work experience in the area of application support and helpdesk, ideally in the area of SCM
• Degree in industrial engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Results driven software troubleshooting and analysis / resolution skills
• Ability to learn complex technical and theoretical information quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus, but not necessary)
• System administration skills on MS Windows, Linux
• Oracle DB, MS-SQL DB administration, setup and maintenance
• Programming skills in SQL
• JAVA/J2EE/Python knowledge is a plus
• Experience with MRP, ERP or B2B applications is a plus
