Your Responsibilities:

• You will implement complex Client/Server solutions based on Java/J2EE.
• Your responsibilities also include the evaluation and selection of new technologies and frameworks based on your experience, as well as specific implementation together with the team 
• You will be responsible for the design and implementation of software for supplementing and/or expanding our product portfolio, and you will assist with the associated development projects.

Your Profile:

You have a high-level degree in information technology, business information technology, or comparable training. Ideally, you already have professional experience in the field of software development/architecture in the Java environment. You will also bring the following requirements to the table:

• A good understanding of OO Design and programming
• Know-how of databases (especially Oracle and SQL Server)
• Experience in dealing with tools such as Eclipse, Subversion, ANT
• Experience with modern software development methods and architectures in the field of J2EE (SOA, Webservices, Application Server, and Standard Frameworks)
• Experience in the design, development, and testing of complex Client/Server applications
• You work well on a team and your degree of commitment and attention to quality are impressive
• Good verbal and written English skills

In addition, the following characteristics would be ideal, but can also be acquired within the scope of becoming familiar with the new job:

• Knowledge in the field of SCM/ERP
• Good technical knowledge (operating systems: Linux, Windows; databases, Web and application servers; Script languages: Python, Bash)
• Experience with XML technologies such as XSD, XSLT, Xpath
• Understanding of Java Object-Relational Mapping Frameworks such as Hibernate
