ICON is looking for a dynamic Student of Computer Science or similar, wishing to do an internship in the field of Supply Chain Management. We offer an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get hands-on experience with a Fortune-20 company and a market-star Supply Chain Planning tool.

You should be self-motivated and possess good written and verbal communication skills, both in German and English. Preferably, you have already gained first experiences with Linux-based client/server environments, SQL and Java EE. Knowledge in the area of production planning systems completes your profile.

At ICON, you will be part of a strong team. Your responsibility will be to support the customers both in business process consulting and in addressing challenging issues in the field of Supply Chain planning. You will receive training-on-the-job from experienced senior consultants in the following areas:

• ICON Supply Chain Planning suite
• Production Planning
• Supply Chain Management

The internship will last at least 6 months, starting spring 2010 or later. You will be working at ICON Inc. in the Silicon Valley in California.
