Since its establishment in 1992 ICON-SCM has been privately held and enjoyed constant growth. From locations in Karlsruhe (Germany), Campbell (USA), Hongkong (China) and Chennai (India) ICON-SCM operates worldwide with seasoned consultants, software and IT experts.
The ICON-SCM management team consists of:
Dr. Michael Keppler (Chief Executive Officer)
Michael is CEO of ICON, a role he has shared with co-founder Kurt Mannchen since ICON's inception in 1992. Michael is also the head of the Software Development and Support function at ICON and is an acknowledged expert in supply chain planning and performance management solutions. He earned a degree in industrial engineering and management at the University of Karlsruhe and a doctorate in engineering from the same institution.
Dr. Kurt Mannchen (Chief Executive Officer)
As founder and CEO of ICON Kurt is also responsible for Business Development. He has profound experience in optimization of distribution and supply networks and is especially renowned in the discrete manufacturing industry.
Kurt holds a degree in industrial engineering and management and a doctorate from the University of Karlsruhe.
Spencer Miller (CEO ICON Inc.)
Miller is responsible for global operations management and implementation of ICON-SCM’s market and growth strategies. Before being named as CEO of ICON Inc., Miller served as vice president of Strategy and Operations at ICON-SCM and implemented standardized processes and procedures across the company’s multi-national locations to bring efficiency and cohesiveness to a global organization. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science from Hope College. Additionally, he obtained his MBA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, consistently recognized as one of the top two supply chain MBA programs in the United States.
