On-Demand Solutions

ICON On-Demand is different from traditional “hosted solutions”. Our modular set of options respects the critical nature of business processes as well as specific customer preferences.

While production systems with real time requirements are usually installed on customer premises it is rather natural that e.g. supplier collaboration solutions are hosted externally.

Solutions on customer premises will be managed in tight cooperation with our customers’ IT staff. ICON On-Demand solutions are managed completely by ICON’s service staff.

In either case our managed services ensure flawless installations and operations. E.g. hardware upgrades for performance reasons are performed invisible for the end-users. Moreover, systems are automatically monitored to minimize or even avoid the impact of hardware or software failure.

As customers you can chose from a variety of such options to address your specific needs regarding up-times, response-times, etc. The options will be tightly managed under a service level agreement with regular reviews.

Besides the “non-headache” operation the cost transparency is another important advantage of an On-Demand model.
